My Games

About

I am a Computer Science (Game Development) / Mathematics Major at UMBC. These are the many games I’ve worked on as a programmer. These games include school projects, personal projects, and game jams. All games have been made with others and made in Unity.

Games

Wizards

Wizards is a mutliplayer, 3D artillery, turn based game where players play as wizards to defeat their friends to be the last one standing. 2 – 8 players face off in a destructible map taking turns throwing spells at each other to destroy their opponents. Multiple characters with unique spells, power-ups scattered through the map, and meteors falling from the sky all on a floating island allow for an interesting and wacky match every time.

This game was made as a school capstone project for game development at UMBC. I worked as a programmer/lead designer in a team of five members, including both senior level programmers and artists at UMBC. The project lasted over the course of one semester, starting from game pitches to prototypes to the final project.

Axed

Axed is an active 2D tower defense strategy game Defend against industrial robots that want to cut you down to use your life as currency! Use your energy to fend off waves of enemies and use their life to build traps and defenses. See how many days can you survive before they cut you down.

This game was made for the Ludum Dare 44 game jam with the theme, “Your life is currency.” I worked as the programmer for this game jam, and worked with one artist and one musician to finish the game in 72 hours.

OakTale

OakTale is a 2D pixel art, tile based, (a)RPG, adventure game. Explore a fully destructible world, fighting monsters and bosses along the way. Find treasure and items across the world to make your own customizable class in order to power up and defeat the strongest enemies. Interact with NPCs along the way to help in your quest and build your own village. There are countless ways to play the game.

This game is my personal passion project I have worked on for a few years with my friends. It is still very incomplete in many aspects. We plan on continuing its development for however long it takes until our original vision is complete. The game will then be sold on PC to start, with additional content and updates planned for the future.

Home/School

Home/School is an 2D infinite sidescroller. The user plays as a kid trying to survive going to school by dodging and defeating hordes of bullies. The game gets harder over time and the goal is to survive as many days as possible using an arsenal of paper airplanes, apples, and soda bottles as weapons.

This game was made for the Global Game Jam 2019 hosted around the world. I spent 48 hours in a team of 4 members, where I worked as the main programmer, to create this game under the theme “What home means to you.” This was my first game jam and I was pleasantly surprised with the game. It turned out very challenging and was fun to replay, although it did have a few bugs remaining.
